Submarine Acquisition Program Analyst

Key Role:

Leverage operational submarine knowledge and experience to support NAVSEA submarine programs. Provide critical and insightful thought leadership in developing strategies, plans, and documentation in the areas of program management, acquisition management, financial planning and execution, engineering, and logistics products to assist clients with shaping and executing the long-term vision and success of the program. Provide coordination of stakeholders across the program office and with outside activities.


Basic Qualifications:

-2+ years of experience as a submarine junior officer or senior enlisted submariner

-Experience with Microsoft Office Suite of products, with an emphasis on PowerPoint

-Knowledge of the Navy correspondence manual and grammar

-Ability to clearly, effectively, and efficiently communicate ideas in writing

-Secret clearance

-HS diploma or GED


Additional Qualifications:

-Experience with OPNAV, Congressional Liaison, Navy Program office, or in an equivalent position with exposure to requirements, budgets, and policies

-Experience with Acquisition Category (ACAT) level programs and life cycle acquisition requirements

-Knowledge of the FAR, DFAR, DoD 5000, and SECNAVINST 5000

-Knowledge of life cycle logistics
