Major Duties & Responsibilities Asset/Liability Management Lead internal ALCO committee meetings Experience establishing or contributing to strategies to manage IRR Familiarity with tools to measure IRR Familiarity with transactions and strategies to manage IRR Knowledge of regulations dealing with IRR Investment Portfolio Management Experience managing fixed income investment portfolio Knowledge of broker dealings and requirements Experience executing transactions with brokers and safekeeping entities Knowledge of diverse universe of eligible investments Experience establishing and/or implementing investment strategies from within ALCO Knowledge of accounting requirements for fixed income investments Experience managing liquidity requirements Experience managing or executing borrowing arrangements with correspondent entities Supervision of Accounting Area Experience managing staff and overseeing accounting area Knowledge of or experience in regulatory reporting Knowledge of monthly closing process and preparation/interpretation of monthly internal financial statements Familiarity with bank tax returns and provision requirements Budgeting/Performance Management Experience preparing and communicating budgets bank wide and on a departmental basis Ability to educate/communicate with department managers on budget and business results Experience monitoring bank and departmental results and making recommendations for improvement Mergers & Acquisitions Exposure to or knowledge of accounting for acquisitions and subsequent reporting Experience converting acquired institution systems Familiarity in evaluating acquisition candidates Other important characteristics or experience Working closely and collaboratively with CEO, COO and other senior management Presenting information to the Board of Directors Coordinating examinations with regulators, internal auditors and independent auditors Ability to contribute to the strategic planning effort Assessment of risk and oversight of internal control systems Knowledge of regulations and capital requirements for banks Experience implementing accounting systems changes as necessary Management oversight of Information Technology Knowledge of regulatory and accounting requirements for preparing the bank's Allowance for Loan and Lease Loss analysis. Some knowledge of the new accounting standard for \"Current Expected Credit Loss\" (CECL) and its implementation.
