Job Description Worldgate is seeking a Business Development Rep. to join our team! Worldgate is a consulting services firm specializing in solutions to support the unique needs of our Local Government and Education clients. As a sales driver and leader, you will be responsible to open new business relationships with our end clients by working closely with our Sales VP and Delivery VP. Target markets are the local government and education public sectors. Previous sales experience is not required, just a winning attitude! This position is full time and rewards advancement opportunities, uncapped commissions, and benefits. Responsibilities: -Introduce Worldgate's portfolio of services and or (partner) software products to target customers -Execute a top-down sales strategy which targets Customer Executives and Leaders to convert targets into leads. -Cultivate an assigned target list/territory and manage lead generation -Organize CRM System and create Reports for Management -Organize and send marketing materials -Lead Email Campaigns -Lead Call Campaigns -Send Meeting Invites -Develop relationships with C-level executives -Visit potential client sites -Attend Pre-Bid Meetings for opportunities and attend industry Conferences -Keep social media/marketing team satiated with images and content -Support Worldgate's ISO (9001:2015) related Sales process requirements Required Qualifications: -Bachelor's degree and/or equivalent work experience -At least 1 year of professional experience preferably in IT sales or IT recruiting Preference will be given to candidates who demonstrate the following: -Goal oriented and with a strong work ethic -Proven relationships building skills -Organized and familiar with CRM platforms -Ability to effectively and professionally communicate through all mediums (verbal, listening, written) -Self-starter, who works independently with effective time management skills
