Leidos is an equal opportunity employer/disability/vet.Leidos has a career opportunity for a Director of IT Business Management to support the Office of the Chief Information Officer (OCIO) organization in our Reston Corporate office. In this role, you will be responsible for the business related planning, coordination and management of the IT function under the direct supervision of the IT VP of Business Integration and Planning. You will define business management processes, maintain relationships and oversee planning and operations related to all aspects of IT services and financial management (operational and project). You will also analyze and report on key operational management metrics and ensure the organization meets related enterprise business targets and objectives. PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES: - Partner with key functional areas eg, corporate finance, procurement and human resources to plan, manage, report and drive efficiencies and alignment related to all aspects IT service delivery metrics. This includes both ongoing management of budgets and plans as well as forecasting and long-range planning in concert with the overarching business strategy and architecture. Related activities include, but not limited to: - Coordinate the development of the IT annual operating plan - Perform variance analysis and funding projections of financial plans - Maintain strong working relationships with key stakeholders and external peers - Work with Project and Service Managers to provide financial oversight to include month/quarter-end reporting, variance analysis, re-forecasting, and budgeting updates - Develop, in conjunction with functional peers, methods, approaches and frameworks to better align IT service delivery cost models to meet the overarching business model - Support and coordinate the financial aspects if IT asset management through the purchasing, ongoing maintenance and support of IT related vendor contractsBachelor's Degree in Business, Technology, or related field and minimum 12 years of related experience. - At least 5 years of experience in a financial planning, budgeting or management role managing both CAPEX and OPEX - Government contracting financial management and compliance experience eg, DCMA, CAS, corporate/indirect, allocation models (including service centers), rate structures and program/project across multiple contract types - Expert analysis of financial data to derive trends, develop forecasts and establish cost models - Experience in IT service management, governance and related frameworks eg, ITIL, COBIT within the business operations of a large-scale global IT organization - Experience developing and managing IT related vendor contracts with knowledge of common licensing, support and maintenance constructs - Staff/resource planning and management experience with employees, contractors and temporary labor - Understanding of IT asset lifecycle management and associated business processes across the full lifecycle - Experience in the management of multi-functional teams - Strong organizational skills, attention to detail and be able to effectively handle multiple projects or activities simultaneously - Ability to establish and manage multiple competing priorities, work independently, and proceed with objectives without supervision - Proficient in interpreting guidelines and manipulating, analyzing, and interpreting data for organizations or programs of at least $150M - Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with ability to work in partnership with others in a collaborative or advisory role - Comfortable briefing executive level summaries and at the detailed operational level PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: - Master's in Business Administration or other related advanced degree - Experience in defining, developing, and deploying IT service cost allocations models and business processes - IT service center management and experience with diverse cost allocation methodologies - Familiarity of the Deltek Costpoint financial system and common finance business processes
