The company operates within the education sector.A' Plan and implement marketing and branding strategy, with particular focus on visibility, branding, promoting data-driven national and international ranking, student and faculty recruitment and strategic programmatic growth.A' Lead on Advancement fundraising communications strategy and tactical implementation.A' Develop/conduct recruiting communications and tactical implementationA' Strategically plan for and lead US News and World Report ranking data survey and related communicationsA' Work with the UW Central News team on media relations and outreach, especially regarding the quality and impact of the schoolA cents € (TM) s research and major initiatives/developments regarding the School of Nursing.A' Staff the PR/Advocacy Subcommittee of the SchoolA cents € (TM) s volunteer Advisory BoardA' Produce internal and external communications and marketing materials based on data-driven analysis and measurable expected outcomes.A' Produce the annual report to the community, ConnectionsA' Plan and produce communications to legislative officials, included letters to state and federal delegation, coordinate visits with legislators, organize the schoolA cents € (TM) s representation at targeted lobbying days in Olympia or Washington, DCA' Oversee the ongoing content updates and improvements to the schoolA cents € (TM) s website, nursing.uw.eduA' Lead executive communications, including writing emailed messages, blog posts and remarks on behalf of the dean, creating PowerPoint presentations for the dean to deliver, producing talking points when needed.A' Represent Nursing on Central UW boards and workgroups as appropriate.A' Perform other duties as required to support the mission and strategic plans of the School of Nursing.A' Bachelors degree (or equivalent) in Marketing, Communications, or equivalent work experience in related fields.A' Minimum 5 years of demonstrated experience in development and execution of strategic and analytic marketing and communications plans, including branding, public relations and social media oversight.A' Record of superior writing and editing skills for marketing and philanthropic purposes, as well as a demonstrated ability to write in a style and voice suitable for a variety of audiences, including donors, legislators, faculty, current and prospective students, and the general community. Ability to apply critical thinking and sound judgment to problems and tasks.A' Commitment to service excellence.A' Clear and concise written and verbal communication; ability to successfully communicate to multiple stakeholders in various media.A' Strong organizational skills, ability to set priorities, data-driven, and high degree of attention to detail.A' Ability to manage multiple competing priorities concurrently as evidenced by timely completion of multiple tasks.A' A' Ability to work with diverse people with tact, diplomacy, discretion and sensitivityA' Record of strong project management skills.A' Strongly collaborative working style, including development of strong and innovative teams.A'
