The Student Conduct Coordinator (SCC) is a live-in graduate staff member that assists with the overall management of the student conduct program in order to support the holistic development of students in a Catholic liberal arts tradition. The position reports to the Director of the Office of Student Conduct and Academic Integrity. Position responsibilities include, but are not limited to, adjudication of cases, conflict resolution, community outreach, data management, and administrative functions. As well, the SCC provides on-call support as part of the housing staff duty rotation in the Office of Campus and Residential Services. This is a graduate level, ten-month academic year appointment (8/1/18 â€“ 5/31/19).
Bachelorâ€™s degree from a four year college by start date. Continuous full-time enrollment in a graduate program at Marymount University or a neighboring university.
Skills and/or Abilities:
Experience with student conduct hearings in an educational setting; a commitment to student development and alcohol/drug abuse awareness and prevention; and effective oral and written communication skills are required. Must occasionally lift and/or remove up to 25 pounds.
One year experience as a resident assistant or member of a campus conduct board is preferred.
