Acquisitions Professional, Senior

Key Role:

Advise on the interpretation and tailoring of DoD and client acquisition regulations and memorandums and ensure affordable, supportable, and effective systems are delivered to the client. Work with government project personnel and contracting, ensuring that all required documentation is completed and included to verify Section 508 information, acquisition security form, or Contract Security Classification Specifications, as appropriate. Assist program managers with developing program and acquisition documentation, create program schedules, track program status, evaluate operational and technical alternatives, perform risk assessment, and manage integrated product teams. Use established client acquisition and financial management policies, procedures, regulations, and tools. Support GPM in the identification and collection of Minimum Acquisition Requirements and responses to internal and external requests for information. Provide support to GPM to assure execution within the cost, schedule, and performance baselines. Provide oversight and compliance review of acquisition documentation at all levels of preparation.


Basic Qualifications:

-12+ years of experience with DoD acquisition management, program management, or contract management required

-Ability to multitask and work independently or in a team

-TS/SCI clearance with a polygraph

-BA or BS degree or PMP, CPCM, or DAWIA Level III Certification and 15+ years of experience with DoD acquisition management, program management, or contract management in lieu of a degree


Additional Qualifications:

-BA or BS degree in an acquisition related field

-Professional Certification at any level from a recognized institution a plus


Clearance:

Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; TS/SCI clearance with polygraph is required.
