Specialty Engineer, Senior

Key Role:

Provide extensive knowledge of a designated field or discipline and provide insight and advice concerning task or project strategic direction and outcomes. Contribute to the evaluation, analysis, and development of recommended solutions. Resolve complex problems, which require an in-depth knowledge of subject matter related to the designated field or discipline. Apply principles and methods of the subject matter to specialized solutions. Apply experience with management consulting and cross-team facilitation at the senior management level. Leverage expertise in business process reengineering, statistical process control, individual and organizational assessment and evaluation, process modeling and simulation, strategic and business planning, change management, organizational development, and the development of leadership and management expertise. Direct the activities of specialists or other staff on activated related to the specified field or discipline, as necessary.

Basic Qualification:

-12+ years of experience with systems engineering, including the engineering staff pool

-Experience with scalable computing systems using Cloud storage and hosting

-Experience with virtualization, including Citrix, such as CCA, CCAA, CCEE, or CCIA and VMware, including VCP, VCAP, or VCDX certification tracks, such as infrastructure and application software virtualization

-Experience with RedHat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) RHCE certification

-Experience with SQL DBA and software development in VB, .NET, Java, or Open Virtual Memory System (OpenVMS)

-Experience with Enterprise Service Bus, including Mirth, IBM Web Sphere, and BOXI

-Experience with data sharing Web services, including XCA, XDR, DICOM, FIHR, and WADO

-Experience with DEVOPs implementation, including development, configuration, testing, and deployment automation

-Experience in network fundamentals, including load balancers, switches, circuits, and NIPR and SIPRNET and application interoperability related to integration and working with Service Oriented Architecture (SOA)

-MA or MS degree required
