The George Mason University Interdisciplinary Program in Neuroscience (IPN) invites applications for an enthusiastic and energetic Term Assistant Professor to teach, develop, and advise undergraduate and graduate courses contributing to the growth of the IPN such as neuroanatomy and cellular neuroscience.

Responsibilities: This full-time position, beginning mid-August 2018 (Fall 2018) through May 2019 (Spring 2019), is an opportunity for an energetic and talented scholar who is interested in developing his/her teaching skills by working with students. This position has a strong potential for renewal. Specific duties include:
- Course load (3:3);
- 10 hours per week of undergraduate advising;
- May include core courses, electives, and laboratory courses. Required qualifications:
- Ph.D. in neuroscience, biology or a related field with strong teaching credentials. Preferred qualifications:
- One or more years of teaching experience or postdoctoral training desirable.
