HR Director - Defense Division

Directs the human resources activities of a Division. 1. Directs the human resources activities of a Sector. 2. Supervises and directs the work of assigned staff, including subordinate Managers. 3. Develops, implements, coordinates, and provides oversight for Sector level human resources programs and initiatives. 4. Partners with the HR Core Functions and Centers of Excellence teams in the implementation of Division initiatives within the Sectors. 5. Leverages breadth of experience to identify and develop strategies to assist in the areas of staffing, compensation, training, leadership development, diversity & inclusion, etc. 6. Serves as primary human resources contact for Sector level management in developing, implementing, coordinating, and reviewing human resources policies and procedures. 7. Responsible for Division compliance with company policies and federal rules, regulations, and laws governing human resources. 8. Serves as a point of escalation for Employee Relations issues within the Sector. 9. Maintains current knowledge of relevant human resources procedures and practices, and relevant labor laws. 10. Travel to company locations and client sites may be required. 11. Participates in special projects as required. 1. Bachelors Degree in a related business discipline. 2. Masters Degree preferred. 3. Professional Certification (PHR, SPHR) preferred., 12-15 years of related human resources management experience.
