Director, Undergraduate Admissions
Marymount University invites applications and nominations for the Director of Undergraduate Admissions. The Director of Undergraduate Admissions develops, implements, and executes recruitment and admission strategies that fulfill the Universityâ€™s enrollment goals, including: directing all undergraduate recruitment and admission functions for both first-year and transfer students; researching and planning departmental initiatives; monitoring and evaluating the effectiveness of admission policies, practices, and procedures; leading the development of recruitment materials and establishing communication strategies utilizing current technologies. The Director will be a skilled relationship manager and develop connections with faculty, deans, administrative staff, University leadership, and current students.
Must have at least 5-8 years of professional experience in higher education, and/or in admissions and enrollment management;marketing; and data base management.
Bachelors degree required.
Candidate also should possess excellent writing and communications skills and an ability to work collaboratively.
A proven record of basic supervisory and management experience;
A commitment to customer service and a student-centered philosophy; Experience working with a large student database system; Strategic working knowledge of website; Ability to analyze data and read trends to draw action based conclusions.
