Program Coordinator, Experiential Education - Georgetown University Law Center

Georgetown Law's top-rated Experiential Learning Programs allow our students to take classroom theory and apply it to real-life legal challenges right here in Washington, D.C. — immersing themselves in public policy, corporate, civil and criminal law. Our focus on hands-on learning starts from the very first week of our J.D. program, with our in-house legal simulations, and it becomes an essential part of our second- and third-year students' academic curriculum. In fact, Georgetown Law guarantees opportunities to earn credits while seeing the law in action every semester. These include externships, project-based practicum courses and work in our 19 legal clinics — where we continue our Jesuit tradition of social justice and service to others.

The Program Coordinator assists in the administration of all non-clinical, J.D. experiential courses - namely externship, practicum, and simulations (including Week One) courses. A key team member, s/he ensures 1) high quality and timely delivery of key logistical and technical program requirements; and 2) effective collaboration with students, experiential faculty, and cross-departmental stakeholders on all non-clinical experiential education programming.
