Job Summary:

Westat is seeking a contracts administrator to join the fast-paced collaborative corporate contracts unit.

Job Responsibilities:

· Duties include a blend of contract management, cost accounting and project finance. Provide senior-level pre- and post-award guidance. · Manage the contractual and financial aspects of contracts and subcontracts. · Maintain contract data in the accounting system. · Lead a team of contracts administrators.

Basic Qualifications:

· A bachelor's degree and 8 years of federal contracting experience is required.  · Experience working in the private professional-services environment is required.

Preferred Qualifications:

· A Master's degree in business or contracts related discipline. · An NCMA, CFCM or CPCM certification. · Experience working for a mid-sized federal contractor.
The successful candidate must be process oriented with the ability to collaborate with multiple business units to support overall company goals. You should possess excellent interpersonal and communication skills, be detailed oriented and able to work in a team environment.  Hands on experience with Costpoint project and billing modules is essential.
