The Ford Agency is seeking a Bilingual Paralegal to join a top international law firm in downtown DC. The paralegal will assist attorneys in Spanish/English translations in client meetings, depositions, hearings, and trials. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is fluent in English and Spanish to translate documents and converse in both languages while pursuing a career in the legal field!

Additional responsibilities include:
 

  • Organize and maintain case files and databases
  • Use LexisNexis or Westlaw to pull cases and cite-check briefs
  • Monitor international publications for relevant, case-related articles
  • Conduct research on behalf of lawyers
  • Translate Spanish documents
  • Submit files to courts and government agencies

 

Candidate Requirements
 

  • Bachelor's degree
  • Master's in Spanish or native fluency preferred
  • 2+ years of legal experience
  • Ability to speak and write fluently in both English and Spanish
  • Proficient knowledge of MS Office Suite
  • Strong interest in legal
