Job Description We are seeking a Nurse Practitioner / Physician Assistant to become a part of our team! You will focus on providing high quality patient care as part of a healthcare team. Post-Acute Physician Partners is seeking an experienced, certified, and Maryland licensed nurse practitioner to join or team of skilled professionals in the Easton, MD area. We are a multi-specialty group providing services in acute and post-acute facilities. The ideal candidate will have 2 or more years of experience working in a nursing facility, have good communication skills and want to be part of a team of quality oriented professionals. The ideal candidate must be able to work independently and have the skill set to independently care for medically complex patients yet collaborate with your physician team members daily. A working knowledge of the regulatory environment in nursing facilities would be helpful. The ideal candidate must have a Maryland CDS and federal DEA certificates. Responsibilities: Diagnose and treat post-acute, episodic or chronic illnesses Prescribe all necessary medications and treatments Perform comprehensive physical examinations of patients Develop and implement patient management policies and procedures Facilitate referrals to other healthcare professionals and medical facilities Communicate with collaborating physician or specialist regarding patient care Qualifications: Previous experience in nursing or other medical fields Ability to build rapport with patients Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment Excellent written and verbal communication skills Strong leadership qualities Job Type: Full-time Company Description Post-Acute Physician Partners is a multi-specialty physician group who provide services in the acute and post-acute setting.
