The American Psychological Association (APA) accredited George Mason University (GMU) Clinical Psychology Ph.D. program is seeking a primary Assessment Supervisor in our training clinic, the GMU Center for Psychological Services. This position is a 1-year, 80% time administrative/professional faculty position, with potential for renewal. Duties include (1) leading a group supervision on comprehensive assessments in the Summer and Fall for approximately eight students; (2) providing individual supervision to students across the year, focused on reviewing and supervising adult and child assessment cases from intake to final report and feedback, reviewing other documentation, and ensuring completion of reports in a timely manner and adherence to other Center guidelines; (3) independent completion of comprehensive assessments; and (4) provision of on-site emergency back-up for student trainees at least one day/week. Opportunities also exist to supervise evidence based therapy cases, if desired.
Requirements: Ph.D. or PSY. D. in clinical psychology from an APA-accredited program; completion of an APA-accredited predoctoral internship; licensed or license-eligible as a psychologist in Virginia; prior experience in clinical supervision; and prior experience with both child and adult assessment.
