Cafe and Catering Manager
Ridgewells Catering is seeking a highly motivated and experienced manager to serve as Cafe & Catering Manager at a high profile café and concessions operation. This position is part of a management team that oversees the operation of the café, kitchen, concessions, backstage artist hospitality and onsite catering. A successful candidate will have proven customer service experience in high volume environments, adaptability and flexibility to changes, and the ability to think outside of the box. Responsibilities will include: Assisting with the oversight of the daily operations of the café, concessions, and backstage areas; working with kitchen team to generate menus for café, backstage, and onsite catering events; responding to inquiries and generating client proposals; accounting duties such as cash management, invoicing, and accounts payable; and maintaining proper sanitation, cleaning, and food safety standards. Requirements for this position include: A bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Hospitality Management, or other customer service related field; 2-4 years of experience in the hospitality or restaurant industry; the ability to handle multiple projects while remaining organized and on schedule; effective leadership and management skills, the ability to problem solve quickly and effectively; and strong communication and organizational skills. This position requires a flexible and alternative work schedule with nights and weekends as the primary shift.
