Function as a systems administrator and the public face of the technical side in the Mclean, VA office. Serve as the go-to person for people and teams that need to make use of the facility. Process requests for people and teams that use the facility and troubleshoot end user problems. Configure network infrastructure to facilitate access, including maintaining a high level of security. Provide quality technical support for the Mclean office users and maintain responsibility of technical infrastructure. Ensure the local technical environment is available and reliable. Liaise with Booz Allen internal technical resources and ensure technical security is maintained.
-3+ years of experience with systems administration
-Experience with Windows administration, including the design and implementation of AD structure, security groups, OUs for resource management, such as local and remote use, a domain serving as a parent or root domain, AD integration of the lab's existing DCs of the domain hierarchical and centralized management, design and implementation of group policy simplification, end user OS control and management, and patch management
-Experience with configuration management, including the process to select and implement software for management of in-place systems and deployment of new systems, servers used to push changes and pull information and files, and perform patch management for Windows
-Experience with ESXi Server Administration, including the process to manage resource pools, virtual networking, and VMs and the management of SAN for optimal space allocation and performance
-Experience with network administration, including read and comprehend network design, switch configuration and basic setup, and VLANs
-Knowledge of subnetting
-Knowledge of how to use ACLs for the control and access to network resources
-TS/SCI clearance with a polygraph
-HS diploma or GED
-Security+ or equivalent DoD 8570 Certification
