    Applicants must have IT-related experience demonstrating each of the four competencies below

    1. Attention to Detail - Is thorough when performing work and conscientious about attending to detail.

    2. Customer Service - Works with clients and customers (that is, any individuals who use or receive the services or products that your work unit produces, including the general public, individuals who work in the agency, other agencies, or organizations outside the Government) to assess their needs, provide information or assistance, resolve their problems, or satisfy their expectations; knows about available products and services; is committed to providing quality products and services.

    3. Oral Communication - Expresses information (for example, ideas or facts) to individuals or groups
    effectively, taking into account the audience and nature of the information (for example, technical, sensitive,
    controversial); makes clear and convincing oral presentations; listens to others, attends to nonverbal cues,
    and responds appropriately.

    4. Problem Solving - Identifies problems; determines accuracy and relevance of information; uses sound judgment to generate and evaluate alternatives, and to make recommendations.

    AND

    Applicant must have one year of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower grade, which has equipped the applicant with the particular competencies needed to successfully perform the duties of the position described above.

    Specialized experience to qualify at the GS-13 level includes experience in all of the following:
    1. Hands-on software/application programming experience in Java OR .net, AND one of the following: PHP, Drupal, SharePoint (Development or Administration), Ruby, C#, Python, PL/SQL, TSQL, Alfresco, ServiceNow;
    2. Experience utilizing APIs to perform integration and extraction of data between applications; and
    3. Experience working with data center teams and security teams to ensure needed integration and compliance with infrastructure, operations, and security requirements.

    Specialized experience to qualify at the GS-14 level includes experience in all of the following:
    1. Hands-on software/application programming experience in Java OR .net, AND one of the following: PHP, Drupal, SharePoint (Development or Administration), Ruby, C#, Python, PL/SQL, TSQL, Alfresco, ServiceNow;
    2. Experience managing/overseeing teams supporting application and website development; and
    3. Experience developing or managing applications in a cloud environment (e.g. AWS, Azure, Google, etc.).

    Your resume must fully support how you meet specialized experience in order to be found qualified for this position.

    There are no education requirements for this position.

    Any individual selected for this position must be able to obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance.

    This position may be filled at the GS-13 or GS-14 level, with promotion potential of GS-14.

Promotion will depend upon administrative approval and the continuing need for an actual assignment and performance of higher level duties.
