DC law firm is seeking an experience HR Coordinator.  Candidate will work closely with their management team on operations, recruitment, on-boarding, HRIS data maintenance, leave management, reporting, evaluations and compensation. The HR Coordinator will be the main contact for employees of the Firm on human resources questions.  Specific duties will include: assist in the coordination of the recruitment process, prescreen applicants, maintain applicant tracking database, conduct reference checks, enter and update employee records, prepare various reports including the preparation of EEO, Affirmative Action and other compliance matters, prepare market data reports for all departments based on survey information, and assist with the yearly staff evaluation set up and monitoring process. A college degree in business related field and HR coursework is highly desired. Candidate should have a minimum five years of experience in an HR department with progressive responsibilities.  The successful candidate will have excellent computer skills with knowledge and ability to work proficiently with Microsoft Office Suite, especially with Excel.  Candidate should be detail oriented with the ability to work on multiple projects under tight deadlines.  A high degree of professionalism and self-motivation is required.  Great opportunity to grow and advance your HR career.
