My client is an industry leader in healthy food manufacturing and they have a need for Human Resource Manager. The HR Manager will be onsite on their plant located just outside Washington, DC The HR Manager will be responsible for safety policies and OSHA compliance. The HR Manager must have experience in managing workmen's compensation claims and local, state, and federal compliance. The HR Manager will be responsible for the following: . Responsible for full cycle Human Resources duties . Ensures firm compliance with provisions of governmental regulations- ERISA, COBRA, and reviews and analyzes changes to state and federal laws pertaining to benefits and reports necessary or suggested changes to management. . Hands-on management of the safety program, including policy, procedures, OSHA, and operations . Administers approved new plans and changes by preparing announcement material, booklets, and other media for communicating new plans to employees. Revises and reissues all communications material regarding HR policies, employee leave, and benefits . Conduct new hire orientations, on-boarding, and serve as Point of Contact for employee benefits questions and HR policies .
