Position:Sales Manager Job Description: Job Summary immixGroup is seeking a top-tier professional Sales Manager candidate for our cyber security team. This is an excellent opportunity for a professional of your caliber to manage one of our primary accounts and provide leadership and management to the accounts management team. In addition to this you will be maintaining relationships with some of our largest clients and reporting your progress against plan to the immixGroup senior executive team. Along with your years of experience we're looking for an independent thinker who's driven toward producing results and seeking new challenges in which you can meet and exceed expectations. Essential Duties and Responsibilities * Provide leadership and authoritative daily management for one of our account management teams * Build a successful and lucrative sector by expertly managing Senior Account Managers and Team Leads. * Take charge of your sector by overseeing all HR related activities, which includes hiring, annual reviews, professional development plans, and providing guidance as required by the group. * Focusing expertise on the creation of individual client business plans, ensuring the successful completion of each major objective, including strategic and tactical government-facing activities. * Collaborate with the senior executive team, inside sales director, and accounts team to implement corporate-wide initiatives that cultivate and expand the growth of business while driving revenue for clients. Position Requirements * 5-10 years of combined direct sales, channel sales or business management experience selling technology products to the public sector * 3-5 years direct public sector sales management experience * Previous experience with managing a sales team Highly Desirable Attributes * Gregarious and personable with a talent for developing and successfully managing relationships with client executive teams, including sales, operations, contracts, finance, and legal * Proven expertise and comprehension of complex enterprise software and hardware technology and solutions * History of profitable and successful sales to government program leaders, C-level positions and buyers with a proven ability to build and manage those relationships * Command and applied knowledge of major government programs and proven executable strategy on linking technology solutions to those requirements * Expertise on the complete spectrum of the government procurement process including RFP/RFQs, proposals, public sector teaming with strategic resellers, federal integrators, and other partners * Proven track record of successful implementation and delivery of marketing and sales campaigns that support lead generation initiatives. * Determined, take-charge attitude that translates into a superior management of the sales process from lead generation through close, including highly-developed skill in managing cold and warm calling campaigns * Enthusiastic team player with a winning attitude and the ability to manage and inspire a strong team environment * Diplomatic and equitable with the proven ability to manage the issue resolution process and provide excellent customer service Location:McLean (Immix) Time Type:Full timeJob Category:Customer Facing/Supplier Facing
