Program Summary This unique Java Software Developer opportunity will allow you to participate on a high-visibility DoD/Intel program that provides software design, development, and component testing to an important customer in the cyber arena. More specifically, it has been the development contract for a major systems acquisition program within the one of the DoD's premier Cyberwarfare organizations to modernize the infrastructure used for managing its mission. This group of elite Cyber professionals is now focused on developing the next generation of cutting-edge Computer Network Operations (CNO) mission management capabilities. Position SummaryAn experienced Java software developer is needed to support a Leidos sole sourced prime contract at our state of the art facility in Annapolis Junction. In this role, you will primarily support back-end development on one of our teams. You will provide software development support for several existing applications. The applications are primarily written in Java. You will be responsible for correcting faults, improving performance, and developing enhancements for the applications. Additional responsibilities includeCode and test software based on User Stories and other systems engineering artifacts as part of an Agile Scrum teamEnsure that developed code is modifiable, efficient, reliable and meets the team's written coding standards.Use the tools described above to develop softwarePerform unit testing Interface with other software engineers, system engineers and component testers in an Agile Scrum environment with daily stand-ups.Implement test driven development (TDD) practices within the Agile framework to ensure the proper degree of engineering rigor is applied to all assigned tasks.
