Residential Remodeling Project Manager
Rapidly growing Addition & Remodeling Company in the metropolitan Baltimore area is seeking an experienced Project Manager. Candidates should have strong relationship building skills, excellent planning, organizational skills and the ability to prioritize and lead others. This position requires dealing directly with homeowners, design professionals and trade associate subcontractors. Qualifications: High School Diploma with 10 plus years' experience in Residential Construction Minimum 5 years in Residential Remodeling Construction supervisory experience Current Driver's Licence with clean record Drug Free Attitude: Flexible, trainable, and a people person Clean Honest Prompt, timely and able to motivate workers in the field and at jobsite General Knowledge: Extensive knowledge of residential construction and remolding trades, practices, procedures, techniques, tools, equipment, materials, specifications, quality control, cost control, safety and applicable building codes. Proficient at blueprint reading and the ability to layout work for other trades Able to manage and perform with general knowledge, foundation work, framing, insulation, drywall, painting, electrical, plumbing, mechanical, roofing, siding, tile, concrete and finishing of typical projects, including new homes, room additions, as well remodeling and renovations. Working Conditions and Physical Requirements: 60%- 70% of time spent working on various job sites. Driving to job sites is required, and driver's record must be clean Job requires ability to perform tasks on all areas and aspects of construction projects Job requires the ability to work with tools, lumber and materials, as well as supervise those using the same, and ability to lift and manipulate objects up to 75 lbs, and to bend and climb and crawl if needed. Proficiency with Co-construct (will train), Word, Excel Overall Responsibility:The Project Manager is completely responsible for the successful completion of $2M worth of projects per year which includes being on time, on budget, and maintaining a high level of quality and customer satisfaction. He or She should exhibit good judgement, high ethical standards, good oral and written communications skills, and strong leadership abilities. The ability to speak Spanish (NOT REQUIRED) a plus. Job Type: Full-time Salary: $75,000.00 to $84,000.00 /year plus generous benefits and bonus package.
