Job Description Triple Crown Construction is a licensed General Contractor specializing in hotel and hospitality renovation projects. Since 1991, Triple Crown has partnered with highly regarded hotel brands across the United States. The Company has demonstrated expertise in renovations of Guest Rooms, Public Spaces, Food Service and Meeting Spaces in Select Service, Full Service, Boutique Hotels, and Resorts. This position will report to the Project Manager and will have the full responsibility for the quality of work, the pace of the project, and the safety of personnel at the job site. The Superintendent will be the company's main point of contact on the job site and will manage the contactors and interface with clients. This position requires frequent travel nationwide. Key Responsibilities Review project specifications and drawings Plan, assign, and schedule work for various contractors based on project requirements Ensure work completed is in alignment with project schedule Inspect and verify that quality of work performed meets company standard Ensures worksite is safe and all personnel adhere to safety regulations Order materials and supplies to support work schedules Provide hands-on field supervision for all construction operations Continuously monitors work on job site Lead and direct the job site team and subcontractors Resolve any issues on job site Complete daily logs and reports Create progress reports Respond to customer inquires on job site Train new and existing employees Other tasks as directed Core Competencies Ability to read and fully understand construction drawings and specifications Strong time management and leadership skills Ability to travel to various job sites Ability to work “on feet” 6 days a week Key Performance Indicators (KPI) 1) On-time delivery goals a. Meet the scheduling variance goals for assigned projects b. Issue project reports in a timely manner to project manager c. Meet other project related deadlines 2) Quality goals a. Meet established quality and standards for occupied space b. Meet safety goals on job site c. Effectively manage contractors on job site 3) Financial goals a. Meet assigned budget variance for labor and material costs b. Order the right material, at the right time, for the right amount c.
