FT Urgent Care Veterinarian
Job Description Crossroads has been providing for pets in Woodbridge, VA and the Prince William County area for nearly 20 years! At Crossroads Animal Care Center, you will find it all; advanced medical care, surgery, dental ultra sound, laboratory, diagnostics and pet boarding services. Everything we do is geared toward the comfort of the clients and their pets, from the state-of-the-art services to our pet-related TV programs in the waiting area. We are looking to expand into urgent care services to further assist our clients and their small animal pets. Crossroads Animal Care Center is looking for a Full Time Urgent Care Veterinarian to add to the team. Urgent care will be a new service at the hospital and will consist of walk-ins and emergencies during weekend hours to launch the department. Once established, we will institute evening and night shifts as well. Additionally, we are constantly growing our client base through flexibility and availability, as well as a continually developing referral services program. He or she will be responsible for the ongoing evaluation and management of clinical practices as well as the delivery of patient care to urgent cases. The urgent care veterinarian will work in partnership with the practice manager and CVP to ensure a high standard of medical case management and to provide an excellent experience for our clients and their pets. This position will be comprised of day, evening, and weekend shifts. Excellent leadership and communication skills as well as business/operational interest and acumen are essential as the lead doctor for this new position. Partnering with our Practice Manager to share the development of this exciting division to the hospital. Collaboration with our amazing docs and our Lead Team is key. This position performs a number of activities related to the delivery of medical care and clinical services such as ensuring the breadth and quality of medical care, cost management, utilization review, and quality assurance.
