Job Description Comprehensive Health Center (FQHC) in Northern Virginia seeks an energetic and motivated Administrative Coordinator to join our dynamic team! This is an administrative and customer service role in the finance department functioning as a billing/insurance liaison and as a payroll administrator. This position will also support the executive staff. Work schedule is 32 hours per week, Monday - Friday. No weekends. **Our mission is to provide excellent and affordable medical, dental and behavioral health services by being compassionate, culturally competent, and accessible to all. ** Administrative Coordinator Essential Responsibilities Include: Processes biweekly payroll under supervision of the Controller; Performs payroll system maintenance and data entry to include PTO balance and salary adjustments as approved; Functions as a liaison to insurance payers, billing company, credentialing vendor and health center staff with regard to claims reimbursement; Monitors and updates all (Medical, Dental, and Behavioral Health) insurance payer online directories with current provider listings; Complies with insurance payers QI medical records requests; Reviews and follows up on outstanding patient accounts receivables; Performs monthly audit of invoices and other audits as directed by CFO or Controller; Provides administrative and office support duties for executive team including Word Processing, Excel and Power Point reports; Admits and greets visitors to the Executive Suite. Administrative Coordinator Qualifications: Associate's Degree required. Two (2) years of office administration experience required. One (1) year of payroll experience required. Billing and insurance contract experience required. Excellent computer software skills to include Excel, Word, and Paychex (or other payroll vendor) required. Must enjoy working both autonomously and in a team focused environment. Customer service skills are required, where the primary customers are the employees and outside community partners of health center.
