The Lead Full Stack Developer will be the main point of contact for the customer and will also be coordinating all development activities with the customer Scrum Master. You will have the opportunity to oversee the work of this smart and dedicated team, evaluate existing and new products for fit and purpose, and perform quality assurance reviews. You will also coordinate Tier 3 support for the end users of the system. Position is contingent upon award Responsibilities: · developing new microservices to incrementally replace elements of an existing legacy system using an Agile methodology in support of national security. · responsible for contributing to the requirements analysis and solution research based on emerging customer requirements. · understanding of the legacy system leading to the design and delivery of a continuous stream of business value to the customer. · design functional and non-functional tests and produce very high-quality code based on those tests. responsible for all aspects of troubleshooting and debugging, and in assisting your team mates with code reviews. Knowledge and Skills: · Java 8/JEE · Javascript · Java testing frameworks (ie Junit) · Unit testing with Jasmine · Spring 4+ (We are using Spring Boot Microservices with Java-based configuration and annotations) · Spring Web/Boot/Data · RESTful APIs and tools to test and document them such as Swaggar/OpenAPI, Postman, etc. · Gradle or Maven · React/Angular (Angular 2 and above. We are using Angular 5) · HTML5/CSS3 · Any Responsive Design framework (Bootstrap, etc.) · Experience with NoSQL databases such as MongoDB and DynamoDB and with SQL databases such as PostgreSQL and RDS/Aurora · Working knowledge of AWS services and the AWS CLI · Experience working with Chef, Puppet, Ansible, and Jenkins · Experience with Docker (with a plus if you know Kubernetes) Education and work experience: · Bachelor's Degree in computer science of related field · 10+ years of related agile development experience · 3+ years of DevOps/pipeline automation experience Clearance Requirement : US Citizen (Public Trust); DHS ICE Experience and prior or active DHS ICE Clearance a major plus Location: Crystal City, VA Qbase develops proprietary data management tools, including Qbase Data Discovery™ and Qbase Data Transformer™, to help you understand and improve your data.
