Job Description Primary responsibility Multimedia Facilitator: Provide customer support by assisting user in utilizing conference rooms and managed event space with the following Scheduling and monitoring managed room events. Crestron control systems. Setting up WebEx, Skype, VTC and ATC calls. Utilize Barco ClickShare. Wired and wireless In room audio systems. Managing and uploading conference recordings per customer's request. Possible Secondary responsibilities Multimedia Technician The Multimedia Technician is responsible for the installation, set-up, operation and troubleshooting of the audio-visual and videoconferencing equipment. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Installation and termination of copper/fiber cable. Installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of multimedia systems to include secure/non-secure video teleconferencing, audio/video switching, microphones, speakers, and control equipment. Read and comprehend blue prints and wiring diagrams. Assist with site surveys and pre-installation walk throughs. Other duties as assigned SECURITY REQUIREMENTS: Employee will be subject to a Department of Defense, United States Postal Service, and public trust background security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information. EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE: Required: High School Diploma or its equivalent Basic mechanical aptitude. Valid driver's license. Basic understanding of audio visual equipment and concepts. Well versed with MS Office Suites, Internet and Outlook Detail-oriented, well organized and able to handle multiple tasks Superior work ethic Must be able to work independently and as a team member. Must have professional demeanor, positive attitude, patience, flexibility and a customer-service attitude Certification: CTS, (preferred) LANGUAGE SKILLS: Ability to communicate effectively both written and verbally with employees and managers. Ability to convey a professional and positive image to customers. MATHEMATICAL SKILLS: Ability to comprehend and utilize audio, visual, and power related mathematics. REASONING ABILITY: Ability to be responsive and persuasive to all levels of the organization. Good analytical, reasoning, and troubleshooting abilities. PHYSICAL DEMANDS: The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
