Network Support Analyst
Job Description Required Skills and experience · Bachelor's Degree in Information Systems, Systems Engineering, Computer Science, Business Administration or related field along with 3 - 5 years of experience. · Knowledge of layer 1 networking · Good understanding of networking technologies, including TCP/IP, NetBios, DHCP, WINS, DNS, and LDAP · Working knowledge of Microsoft Office products including Visio · Excellent verbal and written communication skills, focusing on the ability to relate technical knowledge to a non-technical audience · Ability to Coordinate and Manage multiple projects · Demonstrated high level of customer services skills · Demonstrate the ability to work closely with the region while taking direction from Central Office · Familiarity to Build Control Systems and building technologies generally · Helps troubleshoot connectivity issues between LAN connected devices, servers, and switches. · Installation of network and networking devices · Provide support and troubleshooting for network infrastructure hardware and software. Desired Skills · knowledge of Microsoft Windows 2003/2008/2012 server · Working knowledge of Windows IIS web services · Working knowledge of MSSQL Server · Working knowledge of Dell PowerEdge Servers, UPS · Virtualization experience, specifically VMWare · Tridium, Johnson Controls, Siemens and/or Alerton systems training or certification · Familiarity with BACnet protocols · Project Management skills Company Description Comtech, LLC is a full-service information systems engineering and services provider located in Northern Virginia.
