Audio Visual Sales Professional
Job Description We specialize in Low-Voltage Cabling, Audio/Video Solutions. We are seeking enthusiastic and optimistic individuals to join our team. We are currently seeking an Audio Video Account Manager to generate sales of Audio Video systems to clients. In this position, you will also build rapport and relationships to generate recurring business, upgrades to existing systems and extended service agreements. All the while ensuring customer satisfaction and continued growth by providing active account management of clients before, during and after installation. As an AV Account Manager, you will identify opportunities with new and existing customers within AV environments that include videoconferencing, meeting room spaces, enterprise technologies, control systems, sound systems and the like. You will also collaborate with engineering, design and project management teams to provide solutions, and close the business. General Overview of Responsibilities: Work the business sales strategy and business plan to ensure attainment of company sales goals, growth and profitability Develop partnership relationships with architects, consultants, contractors, and construction management firms that lead to client loyalty and satisfaction Generate sales of service agreements and upgrades to existing systems Assist clients in improving efficiencies and profitability by having a thorough grasp on company and products and solutions Provide top tier account management to insure core customer satisfaction before, during and after installation Analyze cross-selling and up-selling opportunities ensuring that all company products and services have been thoroughly presented and the sales cycle successfully executed Develop price quotations and bid responses that are complete, accurate, and profitable Attend and participate in office sales meetings Actively use internal databases to complete client contact information, provide detailed notes and track pending activities Desired Skills & Experience: 5+ years of experience with Customer-oriented solution selling is required. Specific experience in selling Services, unified communications, software as a service is preferred; Physical Access Security, Wireless and Infrastructure, a plus. 5+ years of experience in the audio visual or collaboration industry is preferred Demonstrated experience leading complex operational and strategic initiatives Quoting experience in the Audio Video/Unified Communications market, a plus Background of business to business sales, calling on and meeting C-level Executives Proven history of meeting or exceeding sales objectives Be self-motivated, driven and professional, with a goal setting mentality Ability to balance multiple tasks with changing priorities Ability to work and think independently and ensuring to meet deadlines Demonstrated ability to maintain strict confidentiality and handle sensitive matters with discretion Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills Must have clear and professional communication skills (written and oral) both internally and externally Proficient with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) Effective communication and interaction with employees, clients, and colleagues and the ability to work effectively with all levels of the organization We have a great work environment!
