Sales Account Executive
Job Description We are seeking an Account Executive to join our sales team for the DC Metro area! The incumbent in this position will present and sell IAQ, LEED, Energy Efficiency and Water Efficiency services to leaders in the commercial real estate industry. This includes (but is not limited to) property managers, asset managers, engineering teams, Vice Presidents of related services, etc. The person will be a “road warrior” travelling throughout the assigned territory meeting with clients to assist them with their building needs. Our strategy is based on Relationship Selling, to build and foster long-term relationships with our clients. Account Executives must know and understand the clients' wants and needs while representing Healthy Buildings in a professional manner. Responsibilities: Present and sell company products and services to new and existing customers Prospect and contact potential customers Ability to present and sell consulting services to end-users and property management executives Develop proposals based off company approved proposal templates, deliver/present to clients, and close the sale Manage existing clients within the assigned territory, check in with all clients (face to face, phone, or email) Develop and expand business within the territory, and for the company Reach agreed upon sales targets/goals as scheduled Resolve customer inquiries and complaints Set follow-up appointments to keep customers aware of latest developments Manage expenses responsibly Ensure CRM (SalesForce.com) is kept up-to-date, including (but not limited to): Client information Customer relations/activity Generate and track proposals Report time and expenses in a timely manner Qualifications: Have a college degree, preferably in a science or other technical subject Previous experience in sales, customer service preferably in the commercial building services sector Familiarity with CRM platforms Ability to build rapport with clients Strong negotiation skills Deadline and detail-oriented Achieving or pursuing LEED GA and/or specialty certifications preferred Company Description Since 1980 Healthy Buildings works with developers, building owners and property managers to lower utility costs, increase operating efficiencies, and lower business risks.
