Job Description Education: At minimum a Certificate from 2 year trade school or associates degree in industrial electrical technology Must have a valid Journeyman DC, VA, or MD Electrical License Proficient in the use of Windows based PCs including MS office suite. Excellent electrical troubleshooting skills for a wide variety of building systems Must be able to read building infrastructure blueprints to troubleshoot various electrical issues, and have the ability to transfer information / knowledge to building engineers Excellent documentation and verbal communication skills including use of BAS, email, excel, word and other platforms to effectively communicate with the CMI team and our clients. Job Requirements Requirement: Utilizes the best engineering practices to coordinate installation, erection, and repair of wires, conduits, etc. for the transmission of electric current for lights, heat, and power, as well as for the installation of electrical machinery, apparatus, devices, and fixtures. The area of responsibility includes, but is not limited to, 480 Volt Emergency Distribution System, 13.2KV, 4160KV,480/277Volt, 24 volt power distribution systems, Uninterrupted Power Supply, Energy Management Systems, Fire Detection Systems, Fire Suppression Systems, Emergency Lighting Systems, Lighting Systems, Outdoor lighting, Lightning Protection System, etc.; Provides responses for all emergencies, emergency/ routine/ urgent service calls, work orders, scheduled preventative maintenance, projects, etc.; Provides electrical systems maintenance within building maintenance operations, to include service calls, maintenance repairs, work orders and scheduled preventative maintenance; Programs the necessary resources to include personnel, equipment, material, and tools; to achieve targeted schedules and work plans. Advises employees and enforces safety precautions to be taken in the work area, as well as accomplishes quality control over activities and operations being performed. Writes standard operating procedures for the facility as required Tests circuits and equipment by use of voltmeter, ammeter, wattmeter, and ohmmeter.
