It all begins with you.Enterprise Testing - Home Lending Testing & Validation (HL T&V) conducts review activities (testing and validation) for Wells Fargo Home Lending products and services, and spans a broad spectrum of risks, including consumer protection, regulatory compliance, operational risk and internal policies. HL T&V is located within the Second Line of Defense and executes testing and evaluations to provide insight into the effectiveness of implemented, Front Line compliance and business process controls to assist the line of business with accomplishing their objectives as risk and control owners.The HL T&V - Horizontal Testing Team is seeking seasoned Compliance professionals to develop and execute testing activities in collaboration with a team with emphasis on the following areas: Reg O (Officer Credit) Conflict of Interest Reg W (Transaction between Bank and Affiliates) Reg AB (Asset Back Securities) Record Retention ADA Reg D (Reserve Requirements) Legal Entity Life Cycle LMRDA (LM-10 Reporting) Required Absence Project Management New Business Initiatives Online and Mobile PolicyIn addition to the responsibilities above, this position will have responsibility for: Collaborating with ET&V Data Analytics team to execute testing activities including developing, implementing, reporting and addressing issues identified with appropriate parties. Participating in other complex testing engagements Evaluating the adequacy and effectiveness of policies, procedures, processes, initiatives, product and internal controls Drafting reports of findings and provide recommendations to business line management Consulting with other leaders to assist in developing corrective action plans Assisting in effectively managing change to ensure regulatory compliance Mentoring and coaching peer Compliance Consultants.The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong leadership, and the ability to: analyze and simplify complex information; be objective, capable of independent challenge; communicate effectively to various audiences, including senior management; influence stakeholders in collaborative environment without direct organizational authority; manage multiple priorities concurrently; demonstrate project management skills; make decisions in the face of uncertainty; create partnerships and build a strong network of resources; and compile, analyze, and interpret reporting; work effectively across multiple lines of business; maintain the attention to detail; work in a fast paced environment with little direction; and demonstrate strong organizational skills.Will Consider other locations within the Wells Fargo Footprint.Required Qualifications6+ years of experience in compliance, operational risk management (includes audit, legal, credit risk, market risk, or the management of a process or business with accountability for compliance or operational risk), or a combination of both; or 6+ years of IT systems security, business process management or financial services industry experience, of which 3+ years must include direct experience in compliance, operational risk management, or a combination of bothDesired QualificationsAbility to interact with all levels of an organizationAdvanced Microsoft Office skillsExcellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skillsStrong analytical skills with high attention to detail and accuracyOther Desired Qualifications Ability to exercise independent judgment and creative problem solving techniques Experience providing "credible challenge" to business partners when necessary.
