What This Job is About: RedPeg Marketing is looking to add a Senior Accounting Manager to our Finance & Accounting team. If you are looking for an opportunity to help lead RedPeg to future financial success & expansion, and have passion for making sense out of the dollars and cents, then this might be the place for you. You will: * Direct and manage accounting team, including assisting CFO with team's reviews, goals, roles, and responsibilities. * Complete monthly close by the 15th business day of every month, or by date outlined by CFO, including the monthly reconciliation of balance sheet accounts. Put together all month-end reconciliations and corresponding journal entries. * Manage day-to-day cash flow and bank accounts, as well as project rolling twelve-month cash flow, alerting CFO of projected shortages. * Process bi-weekly payroll for all W-2 and 1099 staff, and monitor the payroll processing for contractors paid through bill.com. * Maintain invoicing schedule, process invoices, provide collection support as needed, and all other related Account Receivable functions. * Help process wire transfers and ACH payments. * Process regular filing requirements, such as tangible property taxes, sales & use tax, 1099s, etc. * Help with annual budgeting process as requested. * Manage finances for various external/related entities, such as Chance for Life or Vision House. * Manage annual external CPA review and tax filing. * Administer compliance with GAAP. * Approval and administration of general ledger accounts and operating entities in NetSuite. * Guide financial decisions by establishing, monitoring and enforcing policies and procedures. * Assist management on special assignments as requested. * Administer and manage corporate credit cards. * Act as co-leader in maintaining and improving internal controls relating to local accounting and information systems. * Support company compliance with internal control processes and documentation requirements. * Manage fixed asset and depreciation schedules. * Drive continuous improvement in transactional cycles. What You're All About: You should like numbers, understand financial statements & budgets, and be an Excel guru. Below are some pre-requisites for doing this job well, but at the end of the day, we're also really looking for someone who fits our great culture. * Bachelor's degree in Accounting, CPA a plus * 8+ years of Accounting/Finance experience, preferably with a professional services company * Solid understanding of accounting principles and GAAP * Experience leading and managing internal controls * Power user of Excel * Experience with accounting software; NetSuite a plus * Experience with preparing financial statements for professional services companies * Attention to detail with the ability to multi-task and handle critical deadline demands * Accuracy, organization and interpersonal skills * Ability to successfully work with peers and management and lead staff * Able to work a varied schedule to meet the demands of the business * Next Steps: To apply for this position please respond to this posting with your cover letter, resume and salary requirements.
