Baltimore Country Club is actively looking for a Human Resources Assistant to join the Human Resources team. This fast-paced role demands someone that thrives in a quickly changing environment. The ideal candidate will administer HR processes related to recruiting, on-boarding, benefits administration and billing, Staff Member engagement, metrics and compliance. In addition, the HR Assistant contributes to various projects within the HR department and works closely with all Staff Members throughout the Club. Additional Duties: Accurately maintain Staff Member files and audit existing documentation Prepare and process new hire paperwork, and change forms ensuring data integrity Schedule interviews, initiate background checks, and prepare new hire orientation packets Respond to basic Staff Member questions related to Club policies, benefits, and other HR processes Assist with planning Staff events, trainings, and Club meetings Prepare metrics related to turnover & retention Respond promptly to employment verification requests from external agencies Key Skills & Qualifications: Degree in Business, concentration in Human Resources Management preferred Minimum 1-2 years office experience in a professional setting Proficient in using MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, Powerpoint) Strong work-ethic and service mindset Excellent interpersonal and communication skills Strong organizational skills with high attention to detail Ability to professionally handle confidential and highly sensitive information with discretion Ability to handle multiple assignments and meet deadlines Hands on experience with HRIS system, Paylocity strongly preferred Job Posted by ApplicantPro
