Located in the heart of downtown and just a half mile from Inner Harbor, the Crowne Plaza and Radisson Hotel Baltimore Downtown-Inner Harbor gives you easy access to Johns Hopkins Hospital as well as the most charming places in Charm City. The arts and entertainment district is packed with attractions within a half-mile of the hotel, such as Oriole Park at Camden Yards, the National Aquarium, the Baltimore Convention Center and Royal Farms Arena. To visit attractions outside the one-mile radius including DC, head to Penn Station, about a 10-minute drive from the hotel. We are a 703 room hotel with 19K square feet of banquet space. We are in the top 3 largest hotels in the Baltimore area. JOB OVERVIEW: Supervise the operations of the housekeeping staff promoting a safe environment and quality service to achieve maximum guest satisfaction, protection of assets and minimal expenses. REPORTS TO: Director of Housekeeping ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS: 1. Supervise the housekeeping staff; providing open communication, training, coaching and counseling and providing performance feedback to ensure maximum efficiency. 2. Supervise and inspect the cleaning of the guest rooms, turndown service, public areas and back of the house; ensure compliance with accident/loss prevention programs, health/sanitation standards and regulations to achieve a high level of cleanliness and guest satisfaction. 3. Insure the staff is meeting brand standards on cleanliness on a daily basis. 4. Issue assignments to staff reviewing special requests and areas of concentration to ensure a smooth flow of the housekeeping operation. 5. Issue supplies/goods to staff at beginning of shift in order to control inventory and ensure proper supplies are available while controlling expenses. 6. Respond to guest requests, concerns and problems to ensure guest satisfaction. 7. Log items into the Lost and Found and answer inquires to maintain controls and ensure guest satisfaction. 8. Implement emergency training and procedures to ensure appropriate protection of the hotel, guests, staff and company assets. 9. Able to open and close the house based on occupancy levels. 10. Comply with attendance rules and be available to work on a regular basis. 9. Perform any other job related duties as assigned. **A person who enjoys to clean and see space clean * Must be able to speak, write and read the English language to communicate with guests and team members *1 year experience as Housekeeping Supervisor Ability to be self-sufficient in using a computer and knowing Microsoft programs Ability to grasp, lift, carry or otherwise move materials weighing up to 100 lbs. **Ability to stand and walk more than 90 % of the work shift Ability to move throughout building, bend, stoop and reach to assist other staff members, ie, room attendants, house persons, and inspectors to complete their individual tasks if situation demands. High School Diploma or equivalent required
