The Talent Acquisition Specialist is a role critical to the future success of Allied, as we are poised for rapid growth. The candidate will use his or her experience and skills, both in recruiting and in general Human Resources, to create and maintain a best in class recruiting process for Allied, attracting and retaining top talent, while also supporting the HR Team. The candidate will collaborate with hiring managers to identify needs and key performance factors in order to develop sourcing pools and establish interviewing criteria. The candidate will use his or her skills to establish a narrow candidate pool of top talent for Allied hiring managers. He or she will maintain awareness of competitor practices, industry trends, recruitment standards and employment law. The Talent Acquisition Specialist is the public face of Allied during the recruiting process; he or she will ensure positive candidate and hiring manager experiences throughout the entire process. Key Responsibilities Manage full recruiting life cycle: Partner with hiring managers to determine and fulfill talent resource needs. Identify candidates using all means available. Screen resumes and conduct initial phone screens. Coordinate interviews with hiring team and serve as liaison for candidate. Administer appropriate assessments and reference/background checks. Make recommendations for hire (or not hire). Handle candidate communication and follow up. Serve as an expert identifying top candidates, using traditional and nontraditional resources to identify and attract quality candidates. Develop advertising programs (internal and external) to ensure high visibility with potential candidates. Manage internal transfer process, including screening, coordination of interviews with hiring manager, transfer offer letters, etc. Develop and maintain an excellent relationship with internal and external clients to ensure achievement of staffing goals. Communicate important employment information during delivery of employment offers (eg, benefits, compensation, confidentiality agreements). Work with hiring managers to ensure compliance with all federal/state laws and regulations. Manage current candidate activity in the applicant tracking system (ATS). Manage application/resume file and retention according to company policy. Maintain memberships and affiliations with trade/professional organizations related to industry. Provide a best in class employee experience: Manage and Facilitate New Employee Onboarding, including new hire orientation. Facilitate training and assist with development of corporate training program. Serve as main POC and first line of contact for employees, answering questions and escalating when appropriate. Assist with Benefits Administration, including assisting with Open Enrollment, New Hire Enrollment, serve as benefits Q&A Resource. Maintain company organizational charts. Maintain position descriptions and suggest updates to aid in attracting talent. Conduct Exit Interviews. Other duties as assigned. Education, Experience and Competencies 5+ years' Recruiting and/or Human Resources experience required. Bachelor's Degree in Business, Human Resources Management or related field or equivalent experience preferred. Demonstrated business acumen and consultative skills to work closely with hiring managers at all levels (including Executive). Demonstrated experience in multiple recruiting methodologies, including direct sourcing, networking, cold calling and referrals. Extensive in-person interviewing experience. Strong problem solving and negotiation skills. Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information appropriately. Outstanding written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills. Ability to deliver results on multiple priorities simultaneously. Thrives under pressure. Knowledge of current federal, state and local laws and regulations. Proficient computer skills, including Applicant Tracking Systems and in-depth knowledge of data mining and internet research capabilities. Knowledge of Standard Payroll Administration Practices. ADP WorkForce Now experience a plus.
