Foreign Disclosure/Classification Analyst

Key Role:
Support efforts to enhance the discoverability of data and information by working with legacy content and analytic clients or authors in the review of standard and non-standard GEOINT products to determine the appropriate metadata and keyword tagging and editing metadata, as appropriate. Work in a production support branch assisting with the production and dissemination of finished GEOINT information. Work with analytic authors and technical and publishing specialists to develop and process geospatial intelligence (GEOINT) products for Foreign Disclosure and Classification. Identify inconsistencies in products between overall classification, portion marks, and dissemination level, ensure declassification data is correct, and consult with the author to verify and fix. Attend regularly scheduled production support meetings and stay current with ongoing production support initiatives. Work with the Sourcing and Security Policy Team to obtain updated sourcing and classification information and disseminate that information to the workforce. Support the office and other branches in accomplishing the agency's overall mission, including expediting crisis work, special assignments, and ad hoc taskings on variously scheduled arrangements.


Basic Qualifications:
-5+ years of experience in working with analytic products or Foreign Disclosure and Classification
-Experience with process quality control
-Ability to work on multiple projects with simultaneous deadlines under fast-paced conditions and perform duties in a multiple-shift environment, as necessary
-Ability to identify inconsistencies in products between overall classification, portion marks, and dissemination level, ensure declassification data is correct, and consult with the author to verify and fix
-Ability to identify inconsistencies between cited sources and in-text attributions in products
-Ability to consult with the author to verify and fix the accuracy of references
-Ability to create format products in Adobe FrameMaker
-TS/SCI clearance
-HS diploma or GED
