Computer Security Systems Specialist, Senior

Key Role:

Perform as a member of the greater network assurance team. Support 24x7 response based on client defined criteria to client requests for assistance, and provide an overall picture of the well-being of client networks and enclaves with regards to network assurance. Analyze and define security requirements for MLS issues and design, develop, engineer, and implement solutions to MLS requirements. Gather and organize technical information about an organization's mission goals and needs, existing security products, and ongoing programs in the MLS arena, and perform risk analyses. Provide technical support for secure software development and integration tasks, including reviewing work products for correctness and adhering to the design concept and to user standards. Leverage knowledge of security and IA products, including PKI, VPN, firewalls, and intrusion detection systems. Analyze and recommend resolution of security and IA problems based on knowledge of the major IA products and services.


Basic Qualifications:

-Experience with performing, providing recommendations, analyses surveillance and reconnaissance, enclave Cybersecurity defense, attack vector analysis, Computer Network Defense (CND), including incident handling, vulnerability management and reporting, risk analysis, and readiness and strategic planning analysis

-Experience in providing clients with technical support, analysis, and recommendations, developing TTPs, including establishing reporting criteria, structure, and operational reports

-Experience in interacting with senior external personnel on significant technical matters impacting the program

-Ability to correlate actionable security events, and perform network traffic analysis using raw packet data, net flow, IDS, IPS, and custom sensor output, as it pertains to the Cybersecurity of communications networks

-Ability to provide technical assistance, as requested or directed by the client or its mission partners

-Ability to lead coordination of resources during incident response efforts

-Ability to represent the team as the prime technical contact on contracts and projects

-TS/SCI clearance

-BA or BS degree


Additional Qualifications:

-Experience with guiding the successful completion of major programs, and functioning in a project leadership role

-Experience with the application of extensive technical expertise

-Knowledge of other related fields

-Ability to perform work without appreciable direction, and exercise considerable latitude in determining technical objectives

-MA or MS degree
