The Ford Agency is actively seeking a talented individual to further the communications, donor relations, and fundraising efforts for a national foundation whose DC-based work is nationally known. This role will be responsible for cultivating relationships, managing grants and targeted outreach to further extend the impact and reach of this talented team.  If you are an organized development professional with strong communication skills and enjoy a role that is very hands on, we want to hear from you! Salary DOE.

Responsibilities Include:

  • Draft content for publications and marketing materials
  • Manage donor data in Raiser's Edge
  • Manage grant proposals
  • Maintain communication and relationships with donors
  • Promote outreach and advocacy initiatives

Qualifications Include:

  • Bachelor's degree
  • 3+ years professional development, fundraising, or donor development experience
  • Strong organizational skills and an ability to self-manage
  • Excellent verbal and written communications skills
  • Direct experience with Raiser's Edge required
  • Experience with Constant Contact preferred
