Sr. Marketing Manager Description/Job Summary Reporting to the VP Creative and Marketing, the Sr. Marketing Manager is responsible for managing strategic and tactical marketing and communications plans designed to capitalize on market opportunities and generate demand. Our Sr. Marketing Manager will manage budgets, ensure adherence to our corporate identity and brand, and oversee marketing efforts, media relations, sales proposals/presentations, digital media, and related internal communications. Responsibilities and Duties In conjunction with the VP of Creative and Marketing, develop a comprehensive and aligned strategic marketing plan. Evaluate, implement and, manage new media technologies such as blogs, RSS, video, webcasts etc. Develop and oversee media relations plans and campaigns and communications/releases as well as proactively seeks out editorial and other media coverage. Manage the creation of all marketing collateral and sales support tools. Be accountable for measuring and reporting on campaign results. Execute integrated online/offline, search engine marketing, advertising, public relations, tradeshows and other campaigns to generate demand & sales leads. Work directly with Sales to support their efforts. Identify areas for process improvement, ie proposals and presentations. Maintain knowledge of marketing trends, developments, and best practices. Establish and maintains professional relationships amongst all levels of the organization while creating a collaborative environment, most particularly amongst the sales and creative departments. Oversee Hargrove branding initiatives to ensure consistency of the corporate brand identity both internally and externally. Oversee the development of corporate marketing collateral including brochures, corporate packaging, direct mail and more. Work closely with internal departments to produce the internal collateral and materials needed to perform their functions. These departments may include exhibitor services, finance, human resources, IT and more. Oversees corporate website development and upkeep. Manage social media strategy and creates social media campaigns, blogs, web-casts, etc. that support marketing plans and strategies. Assist with sales proposals and presentation. Required Skills and Experience Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Business or related field required. 4-8 years of experience in Marketing and/or Communications. Both B2B and B2C is highly valued. Extensive experience in all aspects of Marketing and Communications including brand and digital marketing for various audiences. Exceptional written skills. Writing samples will be requested at time of interview. Exceptional Power Point layout skills Experience in events, trade shows or production industries a plus. Ability to adapt quickly to a changing environment. Excellent writing and communication skills. Capable of working with varying personalities. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite. Knowledge of CRM software such as Microsoft Dynamics CRM. Needed Attributes The ideal candidate will be self-motivated, resourceful, and have impeccable communication & leadership skills. The position requires a seasoned professional able to engage successfully with a large variety of internal and external stakeholders including, but not limited to, senior executives, sales teams, suppliers, media and industry professionals.
