Job Summary: The Accounts Payable Specialist will work with a dynamic team to support clients' accounting-operations department by administering the accounts payable process within various accounting software systems. The work of the Accounts Payable Specialist is performed in the Raffa offices but will also involve travel to client sites. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Processes, codes and reviews invoices into accounting systems. Ensures each invoice is properly supported by valid documentation. Establishes and maintains customer files. Assists in preparing monthly accounts payable reconciliation. Be able to research and provide oral or written status of invoices to both clients and vendors. Special projects as may arise and be assigned. Communicate with co-workers, management, clients, vendors and others in a courteous and professional manner. Requirements 3+ years' experience processing full cycle accounts payable, preferably in a financial services firm with high processing volume (150-250) invoices weekly. Proficient is the use of Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office applications. Familiarity with accounting software programs including but not limited to QuickBooks, Intacct, Great Plains, Anybill.
