Sallyport is seeking a Recruiter who loves the field of "Talent Acquisition." You are working in a government contract environment which will require great energy and enthusiasm to contribute great things to the overall mission. The ability to ramp up for mass hiring efforts for all OCONUS and CONUS hiring is a must while leveraging your network and candidate pipelines to fill critical positions within the organization. Additionally, you will: Conduct interviews to recruit prospective employees and refer job applicants to specific job openings. Evaluate employment factors such as job experience, education and training, skills, knowledge and abilities, and other data pertinent to classification, selection, and referral. Source candidates and develops networks to ensure a constant flow of qualified candidates using web-based tools, agencies, and recruiting contractors. Provides applicants with information on the company and ensures successful hiring and onboarding process. May participate with management to develop job specifications, make salary recommendations and negotiate starting salary with management and candidates. Work closely with management to develop recruiting plans and processes, create accurate job descriptions and nurture employee retention and development. Coordinate program specific recruiting to ensure timely, optimal & quality hiring according to the company's values and culture. Other assigned duties to help us enable mission success! What do you need? Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or Business-related field; or equivalent combination of education and experience or Military Service. 5-9 years of recruiting experience in government contracting space, corporate and/or Agency. Security Clearance is preferred. Previous Corporate/Agency recruitment experience preferred. OFCCP, AAP and EEO compliance experience. Successful track record and excellent candidate management skills. Good team player with a flexible approach. Strong Verbal/Written communications skills. Excellent follow through, sense of urgency, ability to work on their own and be self-sufficient. Passionate about providing exceptional customer service to internal and external partners and clients. Proven aptitude to execute in a changing professional environment. Able to assess staffing needs and develop creative and effective recruiting strategies to meet those needs. Aptitude in assessing intangible aspects of candidates accurately (candidate's fit with the position and with the company culture). Able to in work in a fast-paced environment and work with all levels of management. Proficient with ATS system and MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint) and Internet savvy. Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, verbal, diagram, or schedule form.
