LB&B Associates Inc. (LB&B) has an immediate opening for a Human Resources Coordinator at its corporate office in Columbia, MD. This position reports to the Human Resources Manager, and will perform a variety of HR functions. Clearance : Must possess or be able to obtain a Secret clearance. Responsibilities: Processing all employment background checks, and maintaining all background files Manage and run the security clearance process Processing FMLA and Leave of Absence paperwork Setting up and maintaining drug testing locations throughout the country, and tracking all results Managing LB&B's random DOT drug/alcohol program Entering and tracking all employee certifications and degrees Entering employment data into Kronos software Processing all education assistance requests Maintaining all personnel files and establishing internal filing system Reviewing, tracking, and processing all employee new hire paperwork Sending out reference checks and exit interviews Entering employee data into E-verify system Editing, tracking, and maintaining monthly staffing plan Responding to various requests for information Position will require limited nationwide travel as needed to assist in onboarding of new employees Candidate must be very detail oriented Must be proficient in Microsoft Office Word, Excel, Power Point, and Outlook Experience with Kronos Workforce Ready software a plus Must demonstrate excellent written and verbal communication skills Able to utilize printer, copier, scanner, fax machine, and paper shredder Other duties as assigned Qualifications/Experience: Bachelor's degree in Management, Human Resources, Business or related field and one (1) year of experience OR High School Diploma or equivalency and five (5) years related work history The requirements listed above are representative of the knowledge, skill and/or ability required.
