QI/QA Coordinator (RN)

The RN QI/QA Coord. II - Quality/Patient Safety (QA Coordinator) applies expert clinical, regulatory and data analysis knowledge to enterprise quality and safety related activities designed to improve patient outcomes, ensure regulatory compliance and assist entities to achieve the operational attributes of high-reliability organizations. The QA Coordinator is responsible for maintaining current knowledge of quality-based regulatory requirements for assigned AHC business units and affiliated practitioners, serving as subject matter expert for information systems that provide quality and safety functionality, and shared administration of the AHC event reporting system. The QA Coordinator participates in interdisciplinary activities designed to ensure quality and safety data is a transparent, reliable, and actionable tool, providing outcomes, thorough analysis and decision support in the clinical environment.
1. Bachelor's degree in Nursing preferred; Bachelors degree in other clinical discipline required.
2. Minimum of five years clinical experience, including at least three years in position of progressive responsibility. Minimum two years direct experience with quality and regulatory/accreditation affairs.
