Operations Program Analyst
This position is on the consulting staff of a government consulting firm headquartered in Tysons, VA. The position would be in direct support of Program Executive Office (PEO) Enterprise Information Systems (EIS) Strategic Initiatives Group (SIG). Work location is on-site at Fort Belvoir, Virginia. Responsibilities Serves as the Government's point of contact in day-to-day operations. Performs a variety of Administrative and Operational tasks with specific emphasis on organizing, managing, tracking, and configuration control of documentation within the PM. Responsible for updating reoccurring briefings, lists, documentation, databases and SharePoint sites. Provides supervision and guidance for all contractor personnel assigned to the contract. Leads the Program/Project Support Contract team in providing best business practices. Responsible for overseeing all contractual responsibilities and delivery of all contract deliverables. Provides oversight of staff and support activities; maintains contract costs; coordinates with the COR and as required by the PMO to fill vacancies with the most qualified; manage overall contract performance to include: providing subcontract management, overseeing invoicing, contract change proposals; and understands the needs and customer expectations to ensure customer satisfaction.ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:Help develop and launch programs to improve operations and achieve successEnsures activities involving application or implementation of recommendations are being met. Acts as internal resource, assisting project team leaders in the analysis, evaluation, troubleshooting, and documentation of products, processes, and systemsMaintains databasesOrganizes and maintains SharePoint document libraries for Directorate Provides information needed for creating and updating briefings given to key individuals/groups internally and externally to the organization.Tracks and reviews incoming taskers; makes recommendations for revisions to actions.Performs other duties as assigned. Qualifications Education: Bachelor's degree and previous experience in project management activities.Experience: Experience providing oversight of multi-functional project teams, and planning and managing complex tasks sometimes under tight budget and time constraints. Possess an in-depth working knowledge in system life cycle development; strong management and leadership, written and oral communications skills; experience in Government acquisition; familiarity with industry best practices; and Government contract and subcontract management. Demonstrated leadership abilities, formal education, and/or experience with major software implementations. Proficient user of Microsoft Office and SharePoint.Certifications: PMP preferred.Clearance: Must have a fully adjudicated SECRET clearance at contract award.
