Description PRIMARY PURPOSE OFPOSITION Manages recruitment and internal staffingselection for union/craft and entry level positions. Servesas a contact and maintains relationships with outside employmentand community agencies. Coordinates all selection processesand support activities related to recruitment andstaffing. PRIMARY DUTIES AND ACCOUNTABILITIES Manage candidates that apply throughvarious sources such as personal and corporate networks,advertising, and communityaffiliations. Prescreen and review candidateexperience and skills against established position descriptions andother essential information provided by hiringmanagers. Coordinate, facilitate andparticipate in all pre-employment interviewing, assessment, andtesting andscoring. Consult with hiring managers andCorporate Compensation to develop written employment offers tocandidates. Maintain and track all data relatingto the recruitment and staffing activities of the physical schoolsand entry level craft and unionhiring. Run various and periodic reports thatmeasure department performance indicators as determined by thehiring managers. Develop and maintain relationshipswith community-based employment programs and various Universitiesand Colleges. Evaluate success of recruitment and staffinginitiatives through lessonslearned. Qualifications POSITION SPECIFICATIONS PLEASE READ:This is a temporary position and offers nobenefits. MinimumRequirements: Bachelor s Degree in Business Administration,Human Resources, or Industrial Relations or equivalentexperience. 2 to 5 years HumanResources experience required with at least 2 years in a staffingfunction or related HRfunction. Strong projectmanagement, communication (verbal and written), consulting,problem-solving and project management skillsrequired. Position requires a highdegree of multi-tasking, coordination and notification. POSITION SCOPE With regular guidancefrom the Recruiting Lead, this position solves a range ofstraightforward problems and analyzes/assesses possible solutionsusing standard procedures within the recruitment and internalstaffing selectionfunction. Works under generalsupervision.
