Major Duties: Under general supervision, but in accord with established policies and procedures, reviews and processes consumer and home equity loans. Provides administrative/loan support to Loan Officers throughout the loan application process. Responds to questions and/or provides information upon request from members (internal and external). Processes requests/transactions, as appropriate. Assists members and potential members in understanding and utilizing the Credit Union's products and services. Education & Experience: High school diploma or equivalent (GED). Excellent math skills and ability to effectively communicate with members. Familiarity with loan documents and Credit Union lending policies and procedures. Minimum 12 months experience in lending, member services or branch operations. Ability to be successful in a fast-paced, stressful work environment. Must be detail-oriented and possess excellent organizational skills. Excellent verbal, written, telephone and interpersonal communication skills. Must possess a strong service orientation. PC proficient including Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and the Internet. Ability to function in a financial institution branch environment and utilize standard office equipment including but not limited to: PC, copier, telephone, etc. Some travel required.
