Therapeutic Living for Families is an Outpatient Clinic that provides comprehensive health services for people with mental illness and addictions to improve their mental, physical and psychological well-being while strengthening, preserving and supporting their recovery within their communities; Because We Care! We are currently seeking a Mental Health Therapist to provide exceptional outpatient therapeutic intervention services. This position reports to the Director of Programs and provides direct services that include intake assessments, individual / family / group therapy and crisis interventions to assigned clients. We have partnered with Baltimore City Public schools to provide additional support to their Children and Families. The ideal candidate must possess the following: *Masters' degree from an accredited University or College Be licensed in the State of Maryland to provide services as LGPC, LCPC, LGSW or LCSW-C *At least 1 year of supervised experience in a mental health setting Duties and Responsibilities: *Maintaining regular contact with the parent / guardian of each client; completing master treatment plans, treatment plan updates and managed care authorizations *Participating in after-hours call schedule for the clinic; providing complete and timely documentation to support services rendered *Facilitating group *Performing individual and family therapy *Recognizing, responding, and assisting in psychiatric crisis situations and providing the intervention necessary *Documenting the assessment of patient progress/regress and interventions provided in the medical record on an ongoing basis *Communicating effectively with patient, staff, and physician *Providing patients with education and instruction on Advance Directives *Maintaining 60% direct service requirement *Other duties as assigned Additional Requirements: *Daily and/or weekly school and home visits *Use of own vehicle for visits to clients' homes *Valid driver's license To the qualified candidate we offer: *Annual compensation negotiable, commensurate with experience *Supervision Hours towards clinical licensure; provided by an approved LCPC and/or LCSW-C *Medical, dental, and vision plans *Salary match towards retirement *CEU's *Licensed Clinicians only* Company Description Therapeutic Living for Families is a Specialty Behavioral Health Center.
